What is your goal for KidzWorld?
The goal in KidzWorld is to provide a loving and exciting environment where children can learn about God and His love. We believe that it is our job to partner with parents as they seek to raise their children to know who God is and how much He loves each of us. Kids are often set home with a Parent Cue (an overview of what they learned) that helps reinforce the weekend teaching. Parents can also access a valuable tool called The Parent Cue.

How do I check-in my kids?
Checking your children into KidzWorld is quick and easy. Computerized check-in is located at the start of the main hallway (directly past the Welcome Center) and also at the end of the same hallway. If you are a first-time KidzWorld check-in, please visit the Check-In counter at the end of the hallway for assistance. Return attendees can check in at any station.

What ages can attend KidzWorld?
KidzWorld is for children from birth through 5th grade. We have Baby Bay for infants and babies up to 18 months. Adventure Avenue Junior is split between two age groups: the first room is for ages 18 months through age 3, while the second room is for age 3 (once potty-trained) through preschool-age children. Adventure Avenue is for kindergarten – 2nd grade. Route 252 is for 3rd – 5th grade. The children are then divided into small groups within each room.

What curriculum is used in the KidzWorld classes?
We use First Look curriculum in Baby Bay and Adventure Avenue Junior. We use the 252 Basics curriculum in Adventure Avenue and Route 252, our elementary environments. Both are produced by the Rethink group.

In Baby Bay and Adventure Avenue Junior, kids are learning three basic ideas:

  1. God made me.
  2. God loves me.
  3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

In Adventure Avenue and Route 252, we want every child to know the following:

  1. I need to make the wise choice.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

How secure are the KidzWorld classrooms?
We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure the safety of every child who comes to KidzWorld. Each kid has a name tag that is matched to a parent identification number. Volunteers are screened with an interview and a federal background check. Safety at KidzWorld is a top priority.

Can my child attend more than one KidzWorld class in a weekend?
Because of our Worship One, Serve One philosophy at Grace, we welcome children to attend two KidzWorld services per weekend so that their parents/guardians can serve during a service.

What if my child has allergies?
Allergies, once entered into the Check-In system, will be printed on your child’s individual nametag. We provide optional Allergy Alert tags (located on the checkin counters and in the rooms). We welcome more complete information, especially for severe allergies. Please let a volunteer know of your child’s allergy history at the Check-In counter at the end of the hallway, so that they can enter your child’s information into the system.
