Name, Image, Likeness
In this message, we're challenged to examine our lives through the lens of God's Word, particularly the book of Galatians. The central theme revolves around being the 'Name, Image, and Likeness' of Jesus in our world. Just as college athletes now represent their institutions through NIL deals, we as Christians are called to represent Christ. The key spiritual lesson here is that our freedom in Christ isn't for self-indulgence, but to serve others in love. We're reminded that the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - should be evident in our lives as we walk in step with the Spirit. This message encourages us to move beyond our selfish desires and prioritize the success of God's people over our personal comfort. It challenges us to consider: Are we striving for personal excellence, comfort, and success, or are we truly living to reflect Jesus to the world around us?
