God's Promises are True

What do we do when life feels like the sun has gone out and we are left standing in the dark? In this message we dove into one of the most honest and courageous stories in Scripture, following the prophet Jeremiah through a season of real, painful darkness. Jeremiah 32 places us right in the middle of an invasion, an imprisonment, and an impossible situation, and yet God asks Jeremiah to do something that makes no logical sense: buy a field. That single act of obedience becomes a powerful declaration that darkness does not get the final word. The central lesson here is not that we should pretend everything is fine when it is not, but that trusting God means choosing to believe His promises are still true even when our circumstances make it nearly impossible to see them. We are reminded that the Bible was not written by people who never experienced pain. It was written by people who knew exactly what it felt like to be afraid, confused, and overwhelmed, and who chose to trust anyway. That same invitation is extended to us.
